Christ is the truth and substance of all the types and shadows.
基督是《聖經》裡所有預表的實體。
2. Christ is the substance and matter of the
Covenant of Grace, and all administrations thereof; under the Old Testament
Christ is veiled, under the New Covenant revealed.

very substance, marrow, soul and scope of the whole Scriptures.
《聖經》的福音是基督的光﹐我們因而聽到祂的聲音﹐跟隨祂﹔是基督的慈繩愛索﹐我們因而被祂吸引﹐與祂聯合﹐與祂相交﹔福音是神的大能﹐要救一切相信祂的人。因此我們相信基督是《聖經》一切的實體﹐靈魂﹐目標。
